The Stableyard Restaurant at Redlands Yard takes the place of its predecessor, Staddle Stones. The restaurant has been serving home-produced foods for over 30 years. Totally refurbished in 2018, our restaurant and conservatory offer an attractive and comfortable setting, with free wi-fi throughout for those who are looking for a quiet spot to enjoy some lunch, and catch up on work.
In 2020, Linda Paget took over and launched Stableyard Restaurant full-time. Having been in the catering world for many years, Linda’s knowledge of flavours and her extensive experience in the food production industry means that we are able to prepare exquisite meals for our patrons; whether they’re joining us for a 3-course Christmas meal, popping in for a quick lunch, or just in the mood for something sweet from our cake counter.
All of our meals are home-cooked from scratch, using only the best fresh local produce.
Our hearty breakfast menu is available from 10:00am (9:30am on weekends and during the summer holidays), with freshly cooked dishes such as eggs benedict, traditional breakfast or porridge.
Our lunch menu offers diners a wide variety of choice and caters to all appetites – whether you’re in the mood for something light, or something more substantial. Our daily Specials Board also showcases some of the best seasonal options. We have a great children’s menu too, and offer gluten-free options too.
Fine coffees and Dorset teas are served throughout the day alongside an excellent selection of cakes, with Dorset Cream Tea a speciality. For a real treat, indulge yourself with a scrumptious high tea, available between 2.30pm – 4.30pm (24hr notice required).
